<p>This night Axel Budde (<a href="http://www.kaffee-maschine.net/html/en/html/home.php" target="_blank">Kaffeemaschine</a>) from Hamburg (Germany) sent me this custom cafe racer built for Gustav Larsson (Monaco).<br />
The donor bike was a Le Mans 3. The engine was modified with 950ccm cylinders, balanced crank drive, performance cam, electronic double ignition and a lighter clutch. It already had a rare, straight geared racing transmission, which was revised. Wheels are Morad with stainless spokes. Shocks are Ikon, the fork got new tubes and Fac dampers. A minimal electrical system including a Motogadget instrument was built. ALL special components on the bike are handcrafted.<br />
Dry weight is 180kg, power is 82hp.</p>

<p>Yesterday Hylke Groen from Holland wrote me a letter with this completely rebuilt Ducati 1098. Most of components the bike build came from the Madrid based <a href="http://www.radicalducati.com/index.php?page=home" target="_blank">Radical Ducati</a>. The company that mass produces the parts for me is called MAS Engineering in in Italy. The kit consist of the Tank, Seat, Exhaust, Front Fender, Pinion Cover, Belt Cover, Handle Bars. <p>Axel Budde from Hamburg/Germany sent me another superb Guzzi. The <a href="http://www.kaffee-maschine.net" target="_blank">&#8220;Kaffeemaschine&#8221; (coffee machine) company</a> is<br />
building unique cafe racers and bespoke bikes, based on the classic Guzzi V2-engine and frame.</p>
<p>The racer was built for an English customer &#8211; John Purser (JP).<br />
The donor bike was his old T3 California. The wasted fat lady was reborn as a skinny supermodel (180kg dryweight) &#8211; only the frame lost 3kg of needless metal.<br />
The engine was modified to LM 850 specs, ALL components on the bike are handcrafted. I even modified the few aftermarket parts, to match the optics.<br />
Shocks are Ikon, fork is of a Le Mans 3 with new tubes and FAC dampers, minimal electrical system including a Motogadget instrument, electronic ignition and Dyna coils.</p>

<p>Just two posts ago I&#8217;ve talked about <a href="http://www.blitz-motorcycles.com/">Blitz Motorcycles</a>, but I think the new build, as they call &#8220;<a href="http://www.blitz-motorcycles.com/v2/spip.php?article22">The Gentle Tracker</a>&#8220;, deserves some extra attention.</p>
<p>The Kawasaki W650 frame is lowered by 4 centimeters, Hagon shocks, Mikuni carbs and a Jawa CZ 350 tank.</p>
